Model 608A11 Integral Cable Accelerometer

The model 608A11 accelerometer is the most cost-effective integral cable sensor on the industrial market. It's design has been tested to submersible depths of 800 ft. but it's real advantage is price. Using lightweight polyurethane cable IMI has made the 608A11 very cost effective starting at $95 US list for a model with 10 ft. cable. Significant quantity discounts exist when purchasing more than 10 units and IMI stocks the 10, 20, 30 and 50 ft. versions.

IMI also suggests using model 080A165 floating hex nut and model 080A162 mounting stud in conjunction with the 608A11. Sensors with integral cable can be difficult to install as one turns the sensor to screw it into place the entire cable assembly turns as well, twisting and binding. Using the floating hex nut and stud allows the user to install the 608A11 without having to twist the integral cable. Simply slide the floating hex nut over the end and screw the mounting stud into the machine. The floating hex will mate to the installed stud.
