IMI introduces another industry-first, the model 682A16 Universal Transmitter with ICP Power.

A new and improved answer to large, bulky meter and power supply cabinets with dozens of jumbled cables, IMI’s 682A16 is a DIN rail mount signal conditioner that requires less than one inch of installation width. Along with powering ICP accelerometers it offers an LCD vibration display, two programmable relays each with separate time delays, 4-20 mA re-transmit to PLC, DCS or SCADA systems and raw vibration output for FFT analysis.

The Universal Transmitter can be scaled for any accelerometer input: 100 mV/g, 500 mV/g, 10 mV/g, etc. via its detachable front faceplate programmer and display. It can be programmed for inches per second and millimeters per second display. Plus the 682A16 accepts a variety of inputs including RTD, thermocouple and 4-20 mA, making it a true Universal Transmitter. The detachable programmer offers the user the ability to upload preferences into several units quickly as well as the security of knowing one’s settings cannot be changed.

Detachable front panel display and programmer for Model 682A06 Universal Transmitter

This detachable display should be used in conjunction with model 682A06 universal transmitter. It can be used on multiple transmitters, and has the ability to store programmed data for quick installation on subsequent units. Programming access can be restricted with password protection.
