Mounting Pads
Three styles of mounting pads are available to assist with installing vibration sensors onto machine surfaces. Generally, the use of a mounting pad may eliminate the need for drilling and tapping holes into machine surfaces and ensure a consistent location for acquiring vibration data, leading to better measurement practices. |
Tapped-hole mounting pads accommodate stud mounted sensors, are constructed of stainless steel and may be adhesively attached or welded to machine surfaces. |
Flat mounting pads accommodate magnetically mounted sensors, are constructed of stainless steel and may be adhesively attached or welded to machine surfaces. |
Quick-connect mounting system reduces sensor mounting time, insures consistent high frequency data collection, and is ideal for route-based monitoring scenarios. The interface pad is constructed of stainless steel and accommodates stud-mounted sensors. The target pad, also constructed of stainless steel, may be stud mounted, adhesively attached, or welded to machine surfaces. The interface and target pads mate with a ¾-turn, quick-engagement thread. |
